Biotechnology Business Exchange (BBE) Partnering event and Genesis Conference, London

Again this year, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) will support Nordic companies interested in making new connections with UK companies and Universities at the BBE partnering event and the Genesis conference in London.

Last year UKTI assisted six Swedish companies in attending the two back-to-back events. One of them was Bert Junno CEO, Wnt Research who says: "Genesis provided us with some good talks and networking and BBE was very well organised and efficient use of our time with many good leads both in terms of customers/partners and suppliers. We made valuable connections with Edinburgh University, MDS Pharma, BMS and GSK".

Wnt Research has identified a protein that works against drug-resistant types of breast cancer and could provide another treatment option to women with particularly aggressive breast cancers.

9 December Biotechnology Business Exchange, running for the fifth year, is a one-day partnering event that provides a unique opportunity for companies to meet one-to-one with some of the most innovative and creative UK based companies across the life science sector.

10-11 December Genesis now in its ninth year, is the largest biotechnology conference built around networking. This conference provides key insights into the latest university and company technologies complementing new medical discoveries in UK/Europe, Asia and US markets.
